4 | Complimentary guest room Internet

Conference attendees that will be staying at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel have been provided complimentary guest room Internet by the Association of Postconsumer Plastic Recyclers.

To log in, please follow the instructions in your browser window. You will be asked to enter your room number. It may appear that your room will be billed for this service but we assure you it will not be charged.

5 | Wear your badge at all times

We want to remind you to show your badge.

Your badge is your admission ticket to the conference, including the exhibit hall, the conference sessions, meals and the Tuesday night reception. Security personnel will enforce this requirement.

6 | Recommended conference attire

Keeping in step with the casual style of past years and the informal nature of the plastics recycling industry, we are asking attendees to have business casual attire in mind when packing for the conference. Since conference meeting rooms are often kept at cooler temperatures, remember to bring layers so that you will be comfortable at sessions throughout the day.

7 | Please take part in our on-site recycling program

We will be providing materials recovery opportunities throughout the conference complex.

Please look for the recycling bins and containers in the exhibit hall, session rooms and near the registration desk. Please feel free to ask a conference staff member if you have any questions. Recycling bins are provided by Gulfstream Recycling and Rubbermaid.

8 | Do you prefer vegetarian, vegan or kosher lunches?

We want to give the hotel an accurate count of those choosing the vegetarian, vegan or kosher options at the lunches. If you did not check this box on the registration form and would like a vegetarian, vegan or kosher meal, then please e-mail us to confirm your preference. Please write to jef@resource-recycling.com.

9 | Chinese language translation available

For the second time, Plastics Recycling 2014 will have Mandarin speaking simultaneous translators available for certain sessions.

Headsets will be available in the rear of the session ballroom. Please feel free to use a headset for simultaneous translation from English to Mandarin Chinese.

The translators will also be available at various times at the registration desk.

10 | Internet kiosk to be provided

As in years past, Plastics Recycling 2014 is offering a free Internet kiosk. The kiosk will provide the opportunity for attendees to quickly check their e-mail. The kiosks will be located throughout the conference.
